A few years ago, Baber took a pair of AA-12s down to Fort Benning, Georgia for a demonstration. "The soldiers, twenty-five of them, fired five hundred rounds and loved the gun," he said. "But the people down there that write requirements for a new weapons system, they didn't want nothing to do with it." Loading the guns into his trunk, Baber concluded that there was only one way to convince the government of the gun's usefulness: robots. Robots with AA-12s would be too powerful to ignore.
The gist of the story is that the AA-12s have so little recoil (scroll to bottom of the post to see video of a sub-100 pound woman firing it on full-auto with no problems) that it makes the perfect gun for small robots (also in the video below is footage of a mini-helicopter using the AA-12 with out knocking itself out of the sky).
Fun little "knock down the castle with your trebuchet" game. 20 levels, and the later ones are plenty challenging. Also, build your own castle and try and knock it down. The treb upgrades are fun too, but I wish there was a "floating arm" option...
Really, you will! ;]
