Wow the frame rate is very low. Does that look significantly better than Oblivion did originally? I haven't seen enough of it to tell.

The trees look a whole lot better. The water looks a little better. The improvements to the buildings and other stuff are more subtle. Mostly it's showing off the CryEngine2's more subtle lighting improvements there.

I think the models and textures were the same, but the lighting and *lack* of redraw were the highlights of the improvement. He went through the whole city without having to stop and reload at every door. AND he flew up above the city without losing too much detail.

Very nice.
